It's good to hear from you. Buzz is getting better and better each time we hunt. Thanksgiving morning we went out Pheasant hunting. Buzz pointed two hens and four roosters. The last rooster was pretty cool. Buzz pointed for about 10 seconds and then started moving forward. You could tell he was trailing the bird. He would point, then creep forward. He did this for over one hundred yards. We were hunting a CRP field and the grasses were 4-5 foot tall. He finally pinned the bird down and pointed. I let him stay on point for over a minute before going in and flushing the bird. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! He then brought the bird back to me. What more can you ask for out of a ten month old pup? He is a great dog. All you have to do is tell him what you want and he does it. He hunts close and never gives up.

I hope you had a great season! I wanted to send you some pics of Buzz. He has definently beat the "blasto" scare we had with him this summer. He has recovered fully and is having an unbelievable year hunting. He flat out gets it done without making mistakes. You can see in the pictures I am using a E collar on Buzz. This is for one reason only which we are well on the way to correcting. When Buzz points a bird he wants it! If it is a hen or someone misses a bird he still wants it and had a tendensy of chasing the bird. When Buzz points and his tail stops moving you better get ready because something is about to happen!!!!
I hope you and your family has a wonderful Christmas. I will be in touch.
